Our legacy began with real estate
Stewart Bainum, Sr.’s original focus was real estate development–residential, hospitality, healthcare, and storage. He soon adapted to owning and operating these assets, growing them into large portfolios for more efficient management and leverage. The family’s investments are built upon expertise gained over decades.
We seek to:
- Compound consistent returns
- Focus where we have expertise
- Capitalize on trends in the market
Park Silver Development
A developer of extended-stay hotels nationwide, focused on the WoodSpring Suites brand. Park Silver is a wholly-owned division of White Oak Enterprises, leveraging the team’s development and hospitality acumen.

Park Silver is the new construction hotel development division of White Oak Enterprises and the latest chapter of the Bainum family’s long history in hospitality development. The name Park Silver is a tribute to the first hotel property Stewart Bainum, Sr., developed: a 26-room motel on Georgia Ave in Silver Spring, Maryland, that opened in 1957. Today, Park Silver develops and operates extended stay hotels, primarily the WoodSpring Suites brand.
The Park Silver team is currently evaluating development opportunities nationwide, particularly in markets with significant business growth, infrastructure spending, and general economic activity. The group currently owns two operating WoodSpring Suites (one in Orlando, FL, and one in Asheville, NC) and has broken ground on a third project in Wilmington, DE.
Park Silver is led by Pam Williams and Chris Milke, both experienced real estate developers and hoteliers who have worked with Stewart Bainum, Sr., and Stewart Bainum, Jr., in their careers.
